In their own words

We are working on the BIRAC-supported project with the objective to develop a medical device for children born with a congenital heart defect (CHD) wherein the heart has a single functional ventricle pumping a mixture of deoxygenated blood and oxygenated blood. The only option for such patients is the Fontan operation which is a palliative procedure that connects the superior vena cava (SVC) from the upper body and inferior vena cava (IVC) from the lower body directly with the pulmonary artery. However, at a later stage, the Fontan circulation tends to fail due to unequal distribution of the hepatic content-rich IVC blood to both the lungs resulting in the lung developmental problem. We are developing an implantable caval flow assist device that will standardize the surgery and regulate the blood flow thereby preventing the failing Fontan circulation.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

Everything here comes from public government records. If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot. To flag an error on our side, write to trust@indianstartupmap.com.
