Avyon Technologies Private Limited is a deep-tech startup building TruthChat, a verifiable AI platform for India's regulated industries. We address a fundamental challenge in enterprise AI adoption: the inability to trust AI-generated answers in high-stakes environments such as legal, banking, and government sectors. Current AI systems, including Large Language Models and enterprise retrieval-augmented generation tools, are widely documented to exhibit pervasive hallucination rates when answering complex legal and compliance queries, including fabrication of citations and legal references. This makes them unsuitable where accuracy is non-negotiable and wrong answers carry regulatory, financial, and reputational consequences. A significant proportion of enterprise RAG deployments fail to reach production due to unreliability, lack of verification, and absence of auditability. TruthChat solves this through a proprietary verification-first architecture that validates every claim against source documents before delivery. The platform provides cryptographic provenance through SHA-256 hash chains, creating an immutable audit trail for every response, and performs multi-hop reasoning to connect evidence scattered across multiple documents such as policies, amendments, and circulars. The verification methodology is patent-pending and represents a fundamentally different approach where verification is a core architectural component rather than an optional add-on. The platform is built for India's regulatory landscape, supporting full DPDP Act 2023 compliance with data localization, meeting RBI and SEBI requirements for auditable AI systems, and enabling air-gapped deployment for government and defense use. We use self-hosted open-source models with no foreign vendor dependencies, ensuring complete data sovereignty.
