Inspired by the gentle hands of Nani and Dadi stitching handcrafted apparel with love and tradition, Neelam Singh shaped the innocence of childhood into a timeless vision — Better Fashions. Intrigued by the beauty of delicate craftsmanship and anecdotes woven in each thread, she aimed for a journey to share these tales via fashion across the India. Teaming up with the co-founder Arpita, her daughter-in-law who pours her passion into selecting unique fabrics and showcasing her expertise in fusion where tradition meets trends while encouraging India’s cultural diversity. Together, they design exquisite suit sets that are rooted in country’s cultural heritage yet styled for today, gracefully merging the timeless elegance of Chikankari and the luxurious artistry of Banaras with vibrant Punjabi and Delhi-styled patterns, while infusing seamless touches from Bihar, Jaipur, Surat, and Chennai. This splendid duo offers not just suits but a refined collection of sarees as the epitome of elegance. At Better Fashion, empowerment is woven into every thread. With our own manufacturing unit, we proudly offer direct employment to skilled weavers and artisans—giving their talent the recognition and respect it deserves. By creating meaningful livelihood opportunities, especially for those rooted in traditional crafts, we’re not just making clothes—we’re uplifting communities.
