Bioconvergence-Attic Private Limited is actively engaged in pioneering research focused on the utilization of Moringa leaf–based nanoparticles to explore their potential in advanced wound healing applications. Moringa leaves are known to be an abundant source of bioactive compounds possessing remarkable antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, which make them highly suitable for biomedical applications. The company is synthesizing nanoparticles using Moringa leaf extracts and incorporating them into specialized wound healing patches designed to enhance drug delivery, accelerate tissue regeneration, and minimize the risk of infection. This innovative approach aims to develop a more efficient and natural alternative for faster and safer wound recovery. As part of this initiative, Bioconvergence-Attic is formulating a novel bioink derived from Moringa nanoparticles for the fabrication of transdermal wound healing patches through advanced 3D bioprinting technology. The concept represents a unique drug–device combination, integrating biotechnology and material science to create biocompatible and customizable wound care solutions. In addition, the company is developing an indigenous 3D bioprinter to be used in the fabrication of alternative biomedical models that can support regenerative medicine, drug discovery, and drug delivery research. This in-house technology development not only aligns with the vision of promoting self-reliant biomedical innovation but also aims to reduce dependence on animal testing by providing ethical and accurate human-relevant testing platforms.
