BioRadius Therapeutic Research Private limited is a Contractual Research Organization (CRO) started with a notion that “ Quality Generic Medicine is not an option but a must!” Generic Medicines are vital to everyone and more importantly to the people who live on and under the margins of low-scale economy. The price of generic medicines is governed by various factors including raw material sourcing, Manufacturing, testing and marketing. Of these, testing or in scientific terms Bioequivalence analysis ( which implies the testing of the generic medicine (test drug) manufactured to that of the reference or innovative drug to make sure the test drug is similar to the reference drug in bioavailability, quality and safety) is considered the screening factor for the medicine to come into the market with good quality. However, when CDSCO, a wing of Ministry of Health, India, tried to make bioequivalence analysis must for all generic medicines to keep the quality of generics constant, irrespecive of their marketing period in India, Pharma companies raised objection quoting the cost involved. Given the above scenario, it is evident that there exists a huge gap to bring affordable and quality generics to Patients. BioRadius aims to reduce this gap by providing cost effective solutions to pharma companies to conduct bioequivalence studies for their product. BioRadius is also continously involved in bringing better systems to improve bioequivalence and bioanalytical studies conducted at its premises.
