BRINJAL AGRO PRIVATE LIMITED

Chennai, Tamil Nadu

DPIIT recognised District Retail

In their own words

Brinjal Agro is a fruits and vegetables–focused retail and supply-chain startup that is currently in its validation stage. Through our early operations, we’ve seen two consistent gaps in this space: customers rarely have clarity on where their produce comes from, and retailers lose a significant amount of stock due to preventable wastage. To address this, we are testing two core ideas across a small network of partner farmers and pilot retail points: Traceability — providing clear and simple information about the source, harvest details, and handling of each batch of produce. Waste management — improving sorting, processing, and re-purposing methods so that more of the produce that enters the supply chain is utilized effectively. In this validation phase, our goal is to confirm that these systems can boost customer trust, reduce operational losses, and create more predictable value for farmers. Brinjal Agro is early, but we believe that meaningful improvements in transparency and wastage reduction can reshape how everyday fresh produce is sourced, sold, and consumed.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.
