India’s Gig Workers lack stable health coverage and access, yet face high physical and financial risks. There’s a pressing need for low-cost, portable, and inclusive health systems tailored to the realities of gig work. Solving this is not just a social imperative — it’s key to sustaining India’s growing platform-driven economy.
