We have developed an air sanitizer through a novel and low cost method which is a negative ion generator.Our product has no moving parts and is ultra low cost.It with no maintenance and is extremely easy to use and install. An air ionizer electrically charges the surrounding air or oxygen ions to produce charged particles - negatively charged oxygen ions(O2-) as well as a small amount of ozone(O3). Air Ionizer releases Negative Ions and they attach to invisible harmful particles like PM2.5, PM10, to form clusters. Airborne particles become heavier & are unable to float in the air. Heavier airborne particles, therefore, fall to the ground. Small amount of ozone generated is effective in killing the SARS virus inoculated on green monkey kidney cells, realizing a killing rate of 99.22%. COVID-19 & SARS virus both belong to the coronavirus. Researchers found that the COVID-19 is 80% similar to the SARS in their genome sequences. It is reasonable to predict that ozone is effective in preventing and controlling the coronavirus.
