Generally, patient admitted in hospital or nursing home for any procedure or surgery is treated by team of specialist doctors according to medical complexities of the patient. For example, if a diabetic patient admits for gallbladder surgery, then the role of endocrinologist is also become significant along with Anesthesiologists and surgeon during the entire duration of treatment i.e., from admission of patient in hospital till discharge. The treatment provided by these specialists are given to patient through nursing staff therefore the role nursing staff also important and significant during the course of treatment. Therefore, the existence of an effective real-time system required in hospital or nursing home for sharing of information related to patient treatment and health parameter between these specialist and nursing staff during the course of treatment for better coordination and quick decision making related to treatment of patient i.e., analyzing the treatment results and to plan treatment protocols accordingly. Any minor delay in decision making will severely affect the patient in spite of having best infrastructure facilities available in hospital or nursing home. The importance existence of such system is more relevant in case of small nursing home or hospital where these specialists are providing their services as visiting specialist, and without having any such real time system they cannot use their best efficiency for scientific evaluation of patients’ profile, for analyzing the treatment results and to plan treatment protocols. Apart from above effective healthcare management system should have also facility for maintenance of records related to patients & hospital, records related to various legal compliances and records related to financial and accounting management on real-time basis There are some integrated healthcare systems that are widely adopted by the big hospitals / and nursing homes which full fills the above purpose, however it is yet to develop in small nursing home and hospital due to 1. Non-availability of cost effective, user-friendly and integrated System. 2. Cost of maintaining such systems or administering such systems. 3. Dependency on skilled person for operating such Software/Platform due to technical skill and knowledge is required to operate. Therefore, there is an urgent need of such system which is user-friendly and cost-effective specially for smaller clinic and hospital where specialist doctors are providing their services as visiting surgeon or specialist, and without having any Such real time system they cannot use their best efficiency for scientific evaluation of patients’ profile, for analyzing the treatment results and to plan treatment protocols.
