In recent times, the importance of exercising during pregnancy has garnered significant attention. Unfortunately, there remains a dearth of comprehensive knowledge regarding its benefits. Moreover, the absence of structured exercise programs that are evidence-based and beneficial both physiologically and emotionally to expecting mothers is glaring. It is with this recognition of a critical need that I, Dr. Krupa Parmar, founded POSA. POSA stands for Prenatal Optimal Strength and Agility, and it serves as a holistic prenatal fitness program aimed at empowering expecting mothers to navigate childbirth with reduced labor pain, fewer maternal and child complications, and a focus on healthy post-birth recovery. At the heart of POSA is a commitment to designing exercise regimens that are not only evidencebased but also tailored to the unique needs and comforts of each expecting mother. As an internationally certified prenatal physiotherapist, I bring expertise to the forefront of our program, ensuring that each exercise is crafted after a thorough assessment of the mother's physical condition.
