Flightshares is developing a tech driven program for fractional ownership of small aircraft in India. We are targeting small aircraft that are useful for a) business use, b) or regional flights, c) or helicopters, d) or sea planes and so on. In this segment India has a very small supply relative to its economic and geographic size or relative to other emerging countries. This is because even smallest of aircraft are expensive assets. Our fractional product will act as tech driven backoffice for small aircraft operators and spread the ownership costs across several owner entities seamlessly, thereby making the aircrafts more affordable, and thereby allowing their numbers to go up in India. This increased supply will enhance access to our remote regions and boost our economy. Our model will have a leasing element from Gift City, Gujarat.
