FRESHOODIES AGRO FOODS PRIVATE LIMITED
Pune, Maharashtra
In their own words
Primarily, focus is on Processing of Agro Products. Manufacturing and processing of Eco friendly products Targeting products which are not readily available in market in their processed form. The first project is making of plates/dishes from Banana trunk. Currently, there are dishes available which are made from Thermocol, Plastics, Arecca etc. The problem/gap for consumers are that the plates made from Thermocols are cheap (i.e. Rs.1/piece) but are not eco-friendly, plates made from Arecca are eco-friendly but are costly (i.e. Rs. 8-12). Plates made from Banana trunk is a trade off which will be cheap and eco-friendly. This will be of great boost to our environment because of its Eco-friendly nature. Also, such dishes will be in great demand as it will be made from bio-degradable material unless other materials like Thermocols, Plastics.. Its very important to minimize the damage done to our environment due to harmful products made from non-biodegradable materials. As of now, there is no process available to make plates from Banana tree in India. This will be new/Innovative concept of product and process.
