In India, after Agriculture, Textile is largest area of employment generation, our focus is to increase production capacity & employment generation in the sector. We propose to carry on the business as weavers or otherwise manufacturer of fabrics and fabric products including dressing and furnishing materials, uniforms, readymade garments, carpets and carpet backing, blankets padding knitted goods, woven and non woven bags, hosiery gloves, yarn and sewing thread and, to carry on the business of packing, grading, texturing, bleaching dyeing, printing, mercerizing or otherwise processing textile goods. We also have planned to generally impart/arrange to impart training to the candidates in such line or where candidates will have full scope for the purpose of extending their technical, behavioral and managerial skill and aptitude and gain both theoretical and practical hands-down knowledge expedient and proper. To initiate & carry out activities towards skill development in the sector and meeting the entire value chain’s requirements of appropriately trained manpower in quantity and quality on a sustained and evolving basis. To determine skills/competency standards and qualifications in consonance with the Sector norms. To plan and execute training of trainers. To coordinate participation of social partners, employers in the private sector, training providers, professional societies, Government and NGOs/civil society groups in the process of skill development for the Sector. To identify the skill development needs of the Sector, review international trends in Sector skill development and identify Sector skill gaps and technology. To undertake the task of vocational skill upgrade for the Sector.
