What is the problem our start-up is solving? Fitness Market is huge however it relies on Imported equipment as Domestic manufacturing lacks scale & expertise. India has one of lowest Market Penetration for fitness in the world at 0.37 % as per the report published by International Health, Racquet and Sports club Association (IHRSA) against 12% in US & other developed markets. India the market size for fitness equipment is 2000 Crore & 70% of it is imported from China. Most of the companies (except for a few) in china run on government subsidies and low-cost capital. The equipment lack biomechanics & are poor on build quality & durability. In last 4-5 years a lot dumping from china has happened & gyms have been set up in less budget but with poor quality equipments as a result many gyms are closing down. Local equipment manufacturers in Meerut & Jalandhar are largely artisan-based set-ups and they lack technological know-how & capital investment in advanced machinery. Imported brands from countries such as US, Germany & Italy are good in Biomechanics, Aesthetics & Build quality however the high equipment cost limits the ROI for the gym owner & the profitability of the business remains a question. Furthermore, importing equipments takes a long time (>90days) considering the manufacturing lead time & logistics which further hampers the profitability of the Gym owner considering that the rent of premise starts immediately after signing the agreement. The spare parts of equipment from China are not available & the spares & service cost of equipments from US, Germany & Italy is very expensive. How does our start-up propose to solve this problem? We Into Wellness Private Limited with our International designs, International technological knowhow, world class Indian manufacturing facility are poised to take a big market share in fitness equipment & help in penetration of fitness across India. Our products have an International design, look, feel & aesthetics. Our equipments are manufactured in India in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Chakan in Pune. We have all the critical processes such as Laser cutting, Pipe bending, Powder coating in house which enables us to ensure quality control. The equipments come with an option for colour & upholstery customisation which gives our customers a power to differentiate their facility with delivery timeline of 30 days .We have created a Pan India sales & service Distribution network (including Their 2 cities such Guwahati .Trivandrum , Cochin , Kashmir , Rajkot ) .Our vision is to help penetrate the fitness in every nook & corner of India . What is the uniqueness of our solution? World class equipment, manufactured in India, delivered at affordable & Indian prices with assured after sales customer service. Our equipment is designed & tested to be user friendly, bio mechanically sound & rugged enough to withstand tough workouts & tougher environments. This enables us to provide lifetime warranty on the main structure of the equipments to our customer. We have indigenised all the parts & components such as Rubber shoes, Plastic end caps, Aluminium end caps, Seat & upholstery, pulley, Gas springs etc which means that all the parts are readily available & cost effective. We have a wide range of products from Single Station machines, Dual Station Machines, Multi gym, Plate loaded machines to Cross fit & functional equipment. This wide range can cater to all Market segments. Our designs are International & are tried & tested by International Athletes world over. We have entered into a technological collaboration with an International fitness equipment brand which has experience of more than 25 years & is already selling to more than 60+ countries. Thus, we have ensured that we have International equipments manufactured in India at are sold at Affordable Prices. We are following Toyota Production System (TPS) for our manufacturing facility. We are part of advanced lean manufacturing cluster and driving Lean manufacturing principles throughout our operations & supply chain. Lean is helping to eliminate waste & ensure that there is value addition in each activity. How does our start-up generate revenue? We have Pan India sales & service distribution network. We sell our fitness equipment to Fitness clubs, Corporates, Real estate players, Armed forces. The company has started export also. The company as achieved a phenomenal growth from 65 Lacs in FY 17-18 to 505 Lacs in FY 18-19. The company is targeting 10X growth in next 5 years.
