Vlisten is a social music platform connecting independent artists directly with listeners. Artists upload their own catalogue and retain 85–90% of revenue, earning through track and album sales, supporter subscriptions and direct fan support rather than fractional per-stream royalties. The platform applies machine learning throughout the listening experience: deep-learning source separation isolates vocals, drums and instrumentation on any track for interactive stem playback; automated audio analysis extracts musical characteristics powering a hybrid recommendation engine; large language models generate playlists from natural-language prompts (AI based playlist generation); and automated alignment produces time-synchronised lyrics. Listening is social — users follow one another, message privately, share songs at specific timestamps, and listen together in synchronised sessions.
