Develop innovation driven defense and drone products Drones are the fastest growing economy in the world. Transport is the key to growth for individuals, a community at large and country. Aircraft is one of the marvels in the human era and it demonstrated its ability to develop superpower in the world. The fastest transport & control on it gives all kinds of verticals for a nation to become a superpower. Drones are the advanced versions of aircraft and all countries are trying to establish a complete ecosystem. At present drones are in an early stage of developments in India. Country is looking forward to promoting indigenous drones; unfortunately, the supply chain for drone manufacturing is not available in India and drone industries are importing almost all the components from other countries. The proposed company vision is to “Frontier in Air mobility, space, drones and defense sector to establish a self-reliant aerospace ecosystem in India to Promote Air Mobility for Common People" and the same can be achieved through its mission, focusing on "1. Establish win-win networks with Indian & international organizations to establish indigenous ecosystems for the air, space & defense sector. 2. Establish cutting edge technologies to develop sub systems for Drone & Defense products. 3. Engage in development, manufacturing, services, remote pilot training, testing, operations, import, export, software and hardware development in drones and defense sector. 4. Develop innovation driven defense and drone products". The road map is very clear to support make in India product development in the drones & defense sector which will inherently develop company reputation and reliability in industry. The base is located in Chennai which is a popular automobile hub in India. So, this will be the added advantage to the company to establish a successful supply chain network for intended product development. The primary promoter of the company has a decade plus experience and expertise in this field and established good collaborations among organizations and demonstrated great outcomes. The company understood the impact of indigenization and pitching products aligned with indigenization. In Addition, the endurance of the battery-operated drones ranged between 20 - 40 min and hybrid drones 60 - 120 min irrespective of the scale. This is due to the limitation in power density & energy density of batteries and losses in energy conversion. So, the company is planning to concentrate on alternate propulsion solutions for long range drones and performance improvements in short range drones. The company also understands the demand of sub systems and difficulties in importing and reselling it. So, it is also pitching towards development & marketing the subsystems like flight controllers, frames and motors. The revenue model is focusing in three major areas. 1. Indigenization of sub systems - Customers: Existing Drone Operators in Remote sensing & Agri Tech - Description: Development of indigenous systems and reduce the subsystems cost in market with its products. 2. Customers: Internet service providers & Wind Mill Operators (New Applications) and Existing drone operators (Drone Pilots): New applications & Manpower Enrichments - Description: Identifying new applications, manpower enrichment (Drone Pilot Training) and deploying drones in new application areas like cable installation, high mounted maintenance using AI based drones. 3. Air Transport - Customers: Parcel Services & Agri Logistic - Description: Logistics using drones and connecting small cities have not been explored much. The alternative propulsion system will make drones to connect small cities and enable air transportation. Drone Rules, 2021 of Govt. of India made it possible to explore in all three verticals. The process flow is well established to approach DGCA and get type certification for drones.
