Our startup Kokum Assist LLP has been formed with the purpose of supporting caregivers, clinicians, therapists of those who are afflicted by neurodivergent conditions such as ADHD, Autisim Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Tourette sydrome, etc. Our specialized app SpectrAble is aimed at connecting caregivers and clinicians/therapists to monitor the day-to-day well-being and long-term progress of the neurodivergent dependents in their care. Ease of use, real-time support, progress mapping, AI enabled predictive behavioural recommendations are some of the distinguishing features of the app. The therapist-to-patient ratio in India is critically low, with significantly fewer professionals available compared to global standards and the population's needs. As per the latest National Mental Health Survey (NMHS), which was conducted between 2015 and 2016, India has only 0.75 psychiatrists per 1 lakh population.When it comes to specialized care for neurodivergent conditions, the numbers appear even more dismal. Added to this is the vast geographical and social diversity of Bharat which often makes it difficult for caregivers to easily access support in their challenging journey. We are a small enterprise founded by Trisha Pawar and Priti Pawar. Ms Trisha is a graduate from IIT, Guwahati and holds a Masters in Design (enter details). Ms Priti Pawar holds a B-Tech degree in IT, and possesses over 22 years experience in leading project management roles across reputed Indian enterprises. She is now a full-time employee of Kokum Assist LLP. At Kokum Assist we are on a mission to reach 25,000 families with neurodivergent dependents by December 2026; we also target ~1000 caregivers to use SpectrAble.
