The Niti Aayog's Vice Chairman also highlighted that a very large section of the country's population has to struggle to get adequate water to meet their daily requirements. He cited that per capita availability of water in India has declined from 5,000 cubic meters to 1,500 cubic meters in 2011 and is expected to go further down. Improvement: 1. We can save more than 2 lakh people due to unavailability of fresh water. These people are force to drink highly polluted water. 2. If people drink fresh water their leaves power increases also increase. 3. Health related issue and healthy person efficiency to work increases. 4.
