We started ParikshAI because we saw a problem that nobody was really talking about - every semester, thousands of teachers across India spend days and nights manually checking student answer sheets. A university evaluator checks 25 to 30 booklets a day. A coaching center teacher marks 80 papers over a weekend. It is exhausting, it is inconsistent, and honestly, the student at the end of the pile gets a worse evaluation than the student at the top. We built two things to fix this. The first is our Institutional Platform - for universities that evaluate lakhs of booklets every semester. We take their scanned answer sheets, run them through AI Evaluation Engine that grades each answer against the rubric, and flag anything the AI is not confident about for a human evaluator to review. What used to take 2 months now takes 2 weeks. The cost drops by more than half. The second is Rubric Studio - for individual teachers. A teacher uploads their syllabus, and we generate a ready-to-use question paper with a marking scheme using AI, covering all types of questions. The teacher can review, edit it, add their own questions, and send the exam directly to students through our platform. Students scan their answer sheets and upload them. Within 24 hours, the teacher gets back AI evaluated results - every answer checked against the rubric they set. We are building this specifically for India, because the scale of assessment here is unlike anywhere else in the world - and most of it is still being done by hand.
