M/s Narayan Polymer Pvt. Ltd. (“Narayan Polymer”) is founded by Mr. Akshay Narayan Maikap, Specialized in Polymer Technology from IIT, Delhi. Narayan Polymer is focused to invent, develop and commercialize water-soluble polymer materials for flexible film packaging. Mr. Akshay has already filed three (3) patent applications for such polymers. These new and innovative polymers will replace solvent based polymers and thus will reduce release of toxic solvents in the environment. Further, the water-soluble properties of these polymers will reduce the cost of the packaging. These new and innovative polymers will be used in to coat polyester films to impart better printability and metallization performances. Further, the polymer will also be used in preparing peelable sealable with desired peel strength, negligible hazing and anti-fog properties. These films will be used to pack food items in A-PET, C-PET, G-PET and PVDC trays. There are more than ten (10) polyester film manufacturer in India and are exporting worldwide including meeting needs in India. The major companies using such kind of products includes HUL, Nestle, ITC and other major FMCG companies. Flexible packaging polymers are being used in about each and every consumer product and has a never ending market. Narayan Polymer aims to invent, develop and manufacture such new and innovative polymers in India, which would generate employment opportunities and will also work to wealth creation by acquiring Intellectual Properties worldwide and licensing out it.
