In their own words

Access to neurosurgery facilities is limited in underdeveloped nations due to the high expense of establishing a well-equipped neurosurgical unit. The expense of purchasing high-end gear such as a microscope, high-speed drill system, neuro-navigation system, CUSA, and so on is one of the most significant logistical obstacles associated with building a cutting-edge neurosurgery unit. Cost restrictions are more than just numbers. The issue of accessibility is closely tied to cost, making this setup tough to achieve, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Neurocula was founded to address this issue, and our goal is to make the technology of these high-end devices affordable, benefiting not just surgeons but also patients by enhancing surgical outcomes. The directors of Neurocula are two neurosurgeons who have experience of working in various neurosurgical hospitals which include smaller hospitals with limited resources to various national and international corporate hospitals. Thesevariedexperiences have helped them grasp the limitations and problems of working at smaller hospitals which inspired them to take theinitiative of developing low-cost devices. Our initial product, dubbed "GLIOGLO," is a convenient, low-cost, user-friendly, portable instrument for detecting malignant tumours. The device is most suited for distinguishing tumour margins from normal brain tissue during surgery, which aids in excising the tumour while minimizing damage to normal brain tissue. Similar technology, based on the principles of injecting fluorescein dye and seeing tumours through a lens and filter assembly, is available as an add-on technology in high-end, pricey microscopes. This is the first low-cost, portable, user-friendly gadget that miniaturizes fluorescein technology, making it available to a greater number of surgeons who require it. The results of this gadget are comparable to those of a microscope with comparable technology. Neurocula has applied for a patent (PCT) of this device which will help us to manufacture and distribute our current low-cost device to neurosurgeons across the globe. Moving forward, we also plan to incorporateAI and robotics into our device. We also intend to expand our research and development efforts in order to create a variety of other low-cost surgical and non-surgical devices, as well as to improve the ergonomics of existing products without sacrificing their quality. We intend to produce equipment that will benefit surgeons of many specializations, as we have a surgical background. With this endeavor, we hope to create more jobs and support the spirit of "Make in India."

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.
