Agriculture sector shares maximum proportion amongst the work forces i.e., 50% of total work force in India. As socio-dynamics is changing in India, it is apparent that a large part of workforce employed in primary sector i.e., agriculture is shifting to tertiary sector. It has been forecasted in Economic survey 2019 that more than 25% of work force employed in primary sectors of Indian economy would move into service sector by year 2050. Ever since the inception of green revolution in India, it is observed that crop yields have been drastically increased and India became a food surplus nation from food deficit country. But this blessing comes in disguise too, green revolution promoted the use of inorganic chemical fertilizers as agricultural inputs to increase the crop yields. Apparently, country achieved high crop yield and at the same time, indiscriminate use of chemical fertilizers has led to irreversible damages to the soil health. Implications aren’t just on the soil, but irrational use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides has also poisoned our food plates and thus put hazardous impacts on our health too. Citing these issues, it is evident that Indian agriculture will suffer in long terms. Learning science is a thing and then application is another. We have learnt a lot during our graduation and post-graduation, but it is of no-use if we don’t put our knowledge into real time applications. This thought led to incorporation of Nuviqo Agri-Biotech Pvt. Ltd. Nuviqo aspires to go green and find solution for issue of degrading soils, crop yield improvement and replacement of hazardous chemical fertilizers/ inputs. Nuviqo Agri-biotech Pvt. Ltd. would aim to bring biotechnology in Indian agriculture by providing quality, standard and affordable agri-biotech products, which will genuinely curb the issue of degrading soils and enhance crop yields. Nuviqo aims to provide quality organic fertilizers (viz aerobic compost-based fertilizers, vermicompost and other soil amendments) and bio-fertilizers by recycling animal/plant wastes. Thus, we also focus on the waste management. It is observed that every year tonnes of animal/plant wastes is accumulated in India, which remain unused, taken this as an opportunity Nuviqo tries to manufacture products by utilizing wastes through recycling it. Recycling animal/plant wastes is core of Nuviqo thus this makes it a highly profitable venture as well as eco-friendly and eco-sustainable idea. Further, it has been demonstrated through various research conducted at national and international laboratories that bio-fertilizer could be the best and affordable solution for above cited problems. Bio-fertilizer increases bio-availability of nutrients to crop. It is totally pollution free and doesn’t impose any threat to environment or people. Bio-fertilizers, along with organic fertilizers, could be used as best combination to improve soil health and crop yield. Thus, it can be used as a potential replacement for inorganic chemical fertilizers. Nuviqo aspires to provide all round solutions for agri-issues pertinent to Indian agriculture in future. Nuviqo manufacturing plant is set to be in rural neighborhood as this will allow us to collect/procure animal/plant wastes with ease and affordable cost. Another objective will be fulfilled being in rural area i.e., direct connect with our customers (farmers). This will help us to penetrate more into Indian agriculture arena. Nuviqo aspires to produce 200 tonnes of organic fertilizers per annum, followed by 15000-20000 liter of bio-fertilizers during initial year of operation and looking forward for large scale of productions in upcoming years
