I still remember the day I got my first period. It was confusing, uncomfortable, and honestly scary. My mother, worried about stains, would give me two pads, sometimes even three, layered under my school uniform. The fear of leakage meant too much movement could betray me — so like many of my friends, I avoided playing sports during those days. That experience stayed with me. As I grew older, I saw how the challenges only multiplied — irregular cycles, painful cramps, and even more serious conditions like endometriosis becoming alarmingly common among women I knew. At the same time, I discovered a harsher truth: most sanitary products we rely on are made with pesticide-laden cotton and hidden chemicals, with risks that run deeper than we realise. As an engineer turned MBA with years in marketing and retail, I felt I couldn’t stay on the sidelines. I began experimenting, creating prototypes, and testing them myself and with early users over two years. The goal was simple yet profound: to take away one hassle from a woman’s life — to make periods as easy as changing from one panty to another. Now, in 2025, that vision is becoming reality. This isn’t just about comfort or convenience; it’s about safety, transparency, and giving women and girls the freedom to move without fear. Starting with teens experiencing their first period, and women navigating the complexities of adulthood, we are reimagining menstrual care as the first step toward holistic women’s wellness.
