PETRALITE INDUSTRIES PRIVATE LIMITED
Indore, Madhya Pradesh
In their own words
We started Petralite Industries with the mission to end the usage of red clay brocks in central India. Red clay bricks consume top soil in their production which is a limited resource essential for the nations food security. Further the production of red clay bricks releases large amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere. AAC(autoclaved aerated concrete) offer a much cleaner and technologically advanced solution that can replace the usage of red clay bricks entirely. The manufacturing of these AAC blocks releases less than 50% of CO2 equivalent. Further these AAC blocks absorb up to 95% of this released CO2 throughout their lifetime through a process called recarbonization. This is an essential tool in achieving the aggressive net-zero targets set by our honorable prime minister Narendra Modi. We have set up a stet of the art greenfield manufacturing unit that has the largest capacity in central India. Using this plant as a model that matches manufacturing cost of red clay bricks we a looking to revolutionize the walling industry and end the usage of red clay bricks
