Pragami is a modern Ayurvedic gut-health start-up focused on solving chronic digestive distress for India’s urban professionals through structured, ghee-centric cleanse rituals delivered D2C. Pragami designs 5-day gut reset kits and daily gut shots rooted in Panchakarma-inspired Virechana logic—using A2 bilona ghee, Ayurvedic herbs, absorber tablets, recovery soups, and a laxative jam—to offer a clinic-style gut cleanse at home, without the time and cost of retreats. The brand targets millennials and office-goers who struggle with bloating, constipation, acidity, low energy, and “brain fog” caused by long sitting hours, irregular meals, and high stress—problems now reported by nearly half of Gen Z and millennials in India. Operating on a digital-first, D2C model, Pragami sells its kits and follow-on maintenance products (like daily gut shots) via its own online channels and marketplaces, in line with the rapid rise of D2C Ayurveda and nutraceutical brands in India’s US$9+ billion herbal/wellness market. Its differentiation lies in blending ancient Ayurvedic rituals with clear, science-backed storytelling—explaining concepts like Agni, butyric acid, and microbiome support in a way that feels credible, modern, and beginner-friendly for young, urban consumers.
