There has been a steady rise in chronic diseases and it is anticipated that by 2020, 60% of the healthcare burden will be due to chronic & lifestyle diseases. Chronic patients require constant support & interaction with their specialists to manage their disease. Along with medical care, chronic and long term care (pregnancy, orthopaedics etc..) patients require diet and lifestyle, physical training and mental wellness programs to recover and manage their conditions. Today these services are un-organised and provided in a disconnected manner to patients. Specialists and all healthcare providers individually work with the patients in silos without complete visibility to the overall treatment plan. DrPrax aims to provide a platform that will help doctors provide a holistic service with seamless engagement and communication to patients. This will help doctors and other healthcare providers offer better care and help patients recover faster. We believe this requires a seamless communication and engagement model for in clinic as well as remote consultations along with a robust referral model for holistic services. Drprax has a proven and well established platform for lightweight OPD management and remote audio/video/chat tele-consultations with appointments, patients health records and relevant patient engagement tools.
