REMET SOCIALS PRIVATE LIMITED operates Remet, a location-based social discovery platform that converts online connections into verified real-world meetings.India's social and dating platforms optimise for endless messaging; almost none are accountable for whether two people ever actually meet. Remet inverts that. Users onboard through Aadhaar-backed identity verification combined with a proprietary photo-verification pipeline (liveness detection, deepfake detection and continuous moderation), then discover people nearby through pseudonymous profiles that protect real identity while guaranteeing the person is real. A curated in-app map surfaces a small, quality-controlled set of partner venues — cafés, gaming zones, comedy clubs, art studios, live-music spaces — and our "Connection Knot" mechanic confirms that a meeting genuinely happened offline.Our innovation is architectural: deliberately high-friction onboarding used as a trust filter, and a product whose success metric is offline meetings, not screen time.Revenue comes from partner venues on a commission basis against verified footfall we originate, with an optional consumer subscription as a second layer. We are pre-revenue and bootstrapped, launching city-by-city with Indore as our beachhead, and have onboarded early venue partners on verbal agreement.
