By 2020, the World Health Organization predicts that two-thirds of all disease worldwide will be the result of lifestyle choices. India is witnessing unprecedented rise in lifestyle diseases (Non-Communicable Diseases – NCDs include diabetes, Cardiovascular diseases, obesity, PCOD, Hypertension,Stress Disorders, Cancers etc.), more than any other country because of various socio economic reasons. India has become diabetes capital of world and more people are seeking medical care and also dying because of these totally preventable diseases. As per World Economic Forum and Harvard School of Public Health report of 2014, financial burden of NCDs on India during 2010 to 2030 is whooping 7.40 Trillion USD! With present rise of NCDs, this estimate has to be revised up! Apart from direct costs, India is also suffering with indirect costs lifestyle diseases such as loss of work hours and increased burden on healthcare insfrastructure. It has been proved beyond doubt that simple changes in lifestyle modification can lead to major changes in the incidence as well as the effects of NCDs on body through various research papers. Need for lifestyle modification is acknowledged by many but there is lack of action and sustainability. RESA Healthcare Pvt Ltd started Kritam clinic with sole focus on treating and preventing these Lifestyle Diseases through its innovative multidisciplinary approach. Kritam in Sanskrit means “Action – Doing” and is mainly in person consultation backed by robust technology and mobile platform. A qualified team of medical professionals works with individual to scientifically achieve sustainable lifestyle modification so that health and happiness becomes natural outcome! From its inception since Feb 18, Kritam has achieved many healthy sustainable transitions. With great success and good word of mouth from our existing patients, we wish to grow further and start multiple such clinics so that we can help many suffering individuals with our Medicines Less, Non invasive, Sustainable for treatments and prevention of lifestyle diseases.
