Problem Definition Need to address the challenge of efficient and economic pain management; and reduce dependence on opioids. Our Solution Satvaayush has designed and developed a pain management device ActiveCure UHV that can deliver multiple energies – heat, ultrasound and vibration simultaneously, sequentially or individually. Unique Features: • ActiveCure™ presents UHV - a unique pain device management device with combination of ultrasound, heat and vibration energies. • Our patented design synergistically allows usage of these tried and tested energies in a defined sequence or simultaneously • All energies are independent, non-interfering; yet they are in synchronization • UHV offers flexibility to the doctor in changing parameters during therapy; based on patient’s response • Unique capability to increase deep tissue temperature; better than individual ultrasound or heat therapies • Minimizes transmission losses of ultrasound (acoustic) energy to epidermis, thereby enabling more pressure waves to reach the tissue • Mechanical energy due to vibration causes muscle relaxation by non-voluntary contraction and activation of the proprioceptive sensory system • UHV enables more combination energies to absorb into the tissue, thereby enhancing pain relief • Improved local blood flow inside anterior tibial artery at the treatment site, when treated with UHV Pain Therapy device. • Local blood velocity measured using US Doppler Scanner (LOGIQ P6, Make: GE) at Lucid Diagnostics, Hyderabad • UHV provides increased blood flow in treated area, thereby increasing tissue metabolism, decreasing muscle spindle sensitivity to stretch, causing muscle relaxation, and increasing flexibility. • UHV Combination Therapy provides faster and safe pain relief. UHV is being sold across India from October 2019 onwards. We have sold around 50 machines till date.
