A high-quality food group business that will be headquartered in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. To be launched as an omni-channel retail chain with ideal locations for a fruit and vegetable retail store. We will retail a wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables to the customers sourced directly from the farmers with a relationship farming setup. Backward integration from seeds to delivery to the end customer. Sbzi Wbzi- Fruits & Vegetable Retail Store, will ensure that all our customers are given first-class treatment whenever they visit our store and also a rich and easy UI/UX on our online platforms and in timely Delivery. A dedicated Customer relations team will be working to ensure maximum retention of customers. The proposed business has a launch plan with just four outlets in Indore, MP, focusing only on fresh fruits and vegetables supplied by fruit juice corner, plan is to open other outlets across the city and further expand it in the state along with new categories in Dairy products, Spices, healthy snacks and Branded food options and exploring the options of Organic Supplies, pre-chopped Fruits and Vegetables, dehydrated vegetables and exports of all products in above mentioned categories.Values:Sbzi Wbzi, with a team of more than 30+ years of experience in farming and quality purchase for fruits and vegetables to deliver the best quality to our customers. Continuous benchmarking and monitoring of the price situations per SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) will put us at par with market conditions and create trust in the minds of the consumer as elaborated by most current retail business owners. The intermediaries between the customers and farmers are traditional retailers with different outlet formats and pop shops, non-permanent shops in the market, pavement vendors, roadside vendors and push cart vegetable sellers, wholesale traders, commission agents and auctioneers. With Sbzi Wbzi, this entire supply chain can be narrowed down from farmers to end consumers directly. This will be achieved by owning the capacity to grow the major crops and also the reach to other farmers in the state to steam line the supplies for all the products even to adopt a contract supply agreement with no major concerns on order quantity.Once the business expands, Sbzi Wbzi will have to deal with a greater number of producers. With increasing urban consumer demand in terms of quantity, quality, choice, and convenience, organised retail is meant to expand. With the same expansion plan the producers are to benefit from Sbzi Wbzi as we are inclined to improve the overall working conditions of the farmers by providing opportunities for consistent revenue streams and encouraging scientific working techniques to improve productivity. India's diverse climate ensures the availability of all varieties of fresh fruits & vegetables. It ranks second in fruit and vegetable production in the world, after China. We at Sbzi Wbzi will offer 70+ varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables to our customers depending on seasonality and other storage conditions. This will help in overcoming the major challenge of unorganised retail of non-availability. The added advantage here is operating from a major vegetable-producing state and sharing boundaries with other states with maximum production of a variety of fruits and vegetables. Cultural disparity and consumer decision-making are major challenges in the industry as mentioned above, the solution to this problem lies in understanding the purchase patterns in terms of geography, socioeconomic status, occupation, buying behaviour across other e-commerce platforms, Interest marked on social media platforms and collecting relevant information(Purchase frequency, Order size, variety of products, order location) from Sbzi Wbzi store POS, website and using this data to improve overall customer experience with Sbzi Wbzi and finding the right product-market fit. Another advantage of the data is in optimising the holding inventory, delivery lead times, and process improvements which will significantly improve the margins that can be passed on to the customers.
