Sky Oncology LLP runs under the brandname of ICTC - Indian Cancer treatment care. Doctors based in Mumbai, suburban Mumbai have come together to provide cancer care treatments in day care centers at affordable prices. Mission of the start -up is to provide affordable, accessible and timely cancer care in day care centers. The LLP aims to revolutionize cancer care in India to cater to the increasing cancer disease in India. The existing treatments are either too financially burdensome in private hospitals or involve a long waiting time. This has led to a gap in the requirement of patients to have access to timely and affordable care. The start-up has pioneered the day care centers to provide a solution to the problem to the care being either too expensive in private hospitals or the care being untimely impacting the effectiveness. The start-up presently runs 6 centers in Mumbai with 30 employees including doctors, nurses and support staff and plans to open new centers and create employment particularly for women while continuing to work towards its aim of affordable and timely cancer care.
