SPATEM GEOTECK PVT. LTD. (hereinafter referred to as GeoTeck) provides services in various emerging services in different domains. However, the primary focus is on Drone-based services. Satellite images are widely being used in forestry, agriculture, and mapping applications. However, The level of detail, on the imagery, is not too high. As a result, many mapping and other applications suffer to capture every detail of the ground. Further, government regulations restrict the use of optical satellite images having spatial resolution better than 0.5 m. Thermal images that we get are even worse with 30 m spatial resolution. Optical image capturing from space is challenged by clouds during the monsoon. It is almost impossible to capture optical imageries during monsoon from satellites because of cloud and rain. In India, every year many areas are flooded. Human settlements, wildlife, forests, agriculture are affected because of flood, but we cannot get imagery to assess the impact, evacuation, and post-disaster monitoring. Further, satellite images are suffered from temporal resolution. Satellites can capture imagery of a specific area in a gap of several days. High resolution satellite images are even very costly and not cost-effective for smaller areas. Drone can solve these issues.
