Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, or PCOS, is a lifelong disorder that affects 1 in every 5 Indian women (compared to 1 in 10 globally). A majority suffer from comorbidities like depression, obesity, diabetes, hair loss and acne. Like 100M Indian women with PCOS, our founders spent years shuttling from one specialist to another without a clear or coordinated treatment plan. The journey is filled with guesswork, stigma and frustration. Veera Health is building tools and services to help women with PCOS manage their treatment systematically. Based on each woman’s PCOS symptoms, we create a cross-specialty care plan that is verified with an upfront online visit. We then coordinate her treatment across specialties, deliver medicines and answer ongoing questions through our tech-enabled platform. The Veera Health App is available for all women in India and can be downloaded free of charge on Android and IOS. Founded by women who've gone through PCOS and are McKinsey / Wharton / UnitedHealth / Tufts alums, Veera Health is encouraging women to be more proactive about their healthcare. Our vision is to continue building modern solutions that simplify healthcare for Indian women, going beyond PCOS to cover birth control, hair loss and mental health.
