Wholistic Medicine-The healthcare system of tomorrow. The Hospitals of Today are based on one core value which is TREATMENT OF A DISEASE. If you look at the life-cycle of a Human Being, the disease is not the only time when an individual needs professional medical advice. To simplify this I will come up with some examples where we do need Professional medical advice but we don't seek it, as seeing a doctor in a hospital is such a stressful scenario. 1) Nutrition- Proper diet advice on specific body types 2) Physical activity- There is plenty of un-organised guidance available in this field causing Sports injuries and even chronic disabilities. 3) Learn to be happy and manage situations like Stress, Anxiety. 4)Guidance on proper Parenting. 5)Geriatric problems-Proper guidance on life post-retirement. An old person suffers on a whole. They suffer not only with multiple medical disorders but also with multiple other issues like socio-economic issues, psychological issues, separation from their loved ones, dejection, depression etc. A brief summary of the invention- (WHO)listic medicine Do not confuse the above with a holistic medicine-A wide range of practices related to Ayurveda, Unani, Acupuncture and Homeopathy. (WHO)listic Medicine is an evidence-based practice where trained medical professionals (Allopathic) focuses on the change in lifestyle changes in the prevention and treatment of lifestyle-induced diseases. Our Prototype-(Proof of concept) under the brand name wholisticcare.center formally known as Wholist Researcher LLP. which came in existence at the end of 2019 at Vidyavihar, Mumbai. It is a polyclinic where you can consult with the following specialists -Physician -Pulmonary Physicians -Dietitians and Nutritionists -Physical Therapists -Orthopaedic Surgeons -Psychiatrists -Psychologists We provide services like -BMI check -X-Ray Diagnostic -Blood tests -Posture Evaluation The non-medical facility at the centre focused on other aspects of health -Yoga -Meditation -Therapeutic massages -Happiness and wellness coaching -Health-related corporate events -Education (Yoga internship program) All of the above is made possible with continuous communication with our Patient(Called PRIME CHANGERS) and not customers or clients through the use of Electronic medical record which helps us to have a wholistic overview of an individual's lifecycle and also helps us collect quality Data which will help us serve them better. As soon as a person enters our center his education about wholistic living starts and he is provided with all kinds of information in the form of Handouts Exercise videos Educational videos about their medical condition Guided meditation Health tips Posture and Ergonomic advice The director Dr.Saurabh Talekar is also a Visiting orthopaedic Consultant in hospitals like Parakh Hospital, Ghatkopar east and L& T hospital, Powai. There is a keen interest from these hospitals for Dr.Saurabh Talekar to start a department of wholistic medicine in their setup.
