At Quikmile, we are building a tech-enabled logistics ecosystem in India to bring logistics companies, broker, customers, and all the other stakeholders of the logistics ecosystem to a universal platform so they can manage their business efficiently and interact with each other in an optimized way. Why we are building this, because in a country like India, where 85% logistic market is still highly unorganized and fragmented, which makes it inefficient for everyone. Road logistics contributes 7% of the total GDP of India and due to logistics inefficiencies, India loses 2% of its total GDP. We trying to solve these problems step by step, by bridging the gap between demand and supply, connecting all the stakeholders of the logistics market and bringing them on the same platform. Our first step or product is a Vehicle Tracking and Transport Management System for Transporters, Logistics Companies, Fleet owners where they can track and manage their assets in real time. We launched this platform in July 2018, and we have managed to bring more than 300 commercial vehicles on our platform and a good base of paying customers, generating revenues of more than 6 Lacs. Our next target is to build a Freight Management System for manufacturing companies, customers and brokers, so they can manage all their shipments and transporters on a single platform by providing them Logistics as a Service, where they can also avail on-demand fleet from our connected pool of transporters/fleet owners. So the transporters who were managing their fleet on our Vehicle Tracking Platform will also get orders from our Freight Exchange. Our vision is to connect first mile logistics to the last mile, proving an end to end logistics solution by aggregating all stakeholders of logistics ecosystem on the same platform.
