"Since Telemedicine got legalized in April 2020, there has been an influx of players in the market. The existing platforms offer chat, phone services, and simple consultation services with Doctors. The challenge faced by Doctors using the existing set-up are two-fold: 1. Unable to perform correct diagnosis since vital readings are not available, and 2. Time consumption is higher due to dependency on technology, connectivity issues, doctor / patients not joining on time, and doctors having to ask a lot of questions in order to come up with the accurate diagnosis. Abhicure is introducing paramedic enabled consultations using point of care devices for the first time in India (using a B2C model) – this will ensure: a. Comfort for the patients who can consult doctors sitting at their homes, b. Satisfaction for doctors who can drive ‘accurate’ consultations based on their convenience, and c. Enhancement of the overall ecosystem by empowering paramedics to add value to the healthcare system The telemedicine kit has been indigenously developed and is a patented telemedicine solution which has been clinically validated at some of the most prestigious Medical Institutes in India (compliant with IEC 60601 and manufactured in ISO 13485 compliant unit). Doctors associated with AbhiCure have been amazed by the quality of service and products and have appreciated the fact that they save a lot of time since simple consultations can be completed using telemedicine platforms – we aim to bring forth equivalent services and delight for our strategic partner hospital and clinics. We have associations with top hospitals in Kolkata and Bangalore in the form of a strategic tie-up which will allow us access to quality doctors and necessary branding at the same time. The existing telemedicine platform providers (e.g., Practo, Lybrate, 1mg etc.) offer video call-based consultations – this is a time-consuming proposition for doctors who must ask multiple questions and make calculated guesses in order to come up with their diagnosis. With the help of the telemedicine devices, AbhiCure aims to create value for the doctors involved and enable them to provide accurate telemedicine consultation. Patients are also happy to avail top class medical services at the comfort of their homes."
