ABM Logitech Pvt. Ltd.- ”Bellhop” aspires to be an aggregator of goods vehicle (Mini Trucks) and a point to point on-demand goods vehicle service to move your personal and business goods safely, economically and hassle free. The aim is to earn revenue by delivering the goods from source to destination, while helping to develop an emerging technology driven service that will increase markets and help reduce transportation cost. Bellhop’s objectives are:- • Organizing the transportation system, largely dominated by unscrupulous middlemen • Provide Economical Transportation of Goods • Create Job opportunities for drivers and help them increase their income • Cater to farmers/ SMEs and help them reduce their transport cost The Goods vehicle industry is dominated by unorganized operators, with few trucks, those results in inefficiencies of operations. Bellhop model creates and captures value by organizing logistics and supply chain market from the source to destination, primarily in Kolkata and Commercial Important Cities in West Bengal in Phase 1. The Indian trucking industry is currently valued at $150 Bn and there are approximately 5.6 Mn on road vehicles transporting 80% of the country’s freight. Massive urbanization will drive the growth of the LCV segment in India. The government is focusing on urbanization as an opportunity and creates 100 more urban cities over the next 5 years. Urban consumption will be key to the 6.8% CAGR from FY2014 to FY2020. Additionally, upgrading India's infrastructure will be a priority for the government to speed up the demand for goods carriers in the M&HCV segments, which is expected to witness a CAGR of 69%.
