The unit will combine alloy steel forging block processingwith lathe and CNC/VMC based precision machining, catering to both third-party jobwork and the Company’s own finished-component production. The project is beingappraised for term loan assistance, and this write-up presents the promoter’s projectrationale together with the underlying industry context, process, cost, financing, operatingand financial-viability assumptions captured in the accompanying project financial model.The proposed facility is designed to serve the growing demand for precision-machinedalloy steel components from user industries such as automotive, railways, capital goodsand general engineering, by offering an integrated “forge-to-finish” capability –processing raw alloy steel blocks through lathe turning and CNC/VMC machining intofinished components, while also onetizing surplus machine capacity through job workfor external customers.The said unit is a link of Backward–forward integration. The Company combines latheroughing with CNC/VMC finishing, allowing it to capture value at multiple stages of themachining value chain instead of being a single-process job shop.Investment in quality infrastructure: a dedicated quality control and testing set-up (CMM,spectrometer, hardness tester, ultrasonic and magnetic-particle testing, tensile tester) isplanned upfront, supporting entry into quality-sensitive customer segments.The unit will be a comprehensive solution for machining with high precession for theeastern India with all advanced machines.
