EEE Servicing & WEEE Refurbishment & Recycling (Ref. EEE- Electronic & Electrical Equipment, WEEE – Waste Electronic & Electrical Equipment) GOAL: To help customers to protect their budgets from large, unexpected repair costs of all electrical and electronic home appliances by providing a unique mobile app-based platform to digitize the process very quickly with minimal effort. Call2Solv goal is to save time and money of our customers. CALL2SOLV—WEEE Recycling & Refurbishing Module : E-waste refers to electronic waste. E-waste recycling is the reuse and reprocessing of electrical and electronic equipment of any type that has been discarded or regarded as obsolete. Some of the common E-wastes include: home appliances such as televisions, air conditioners, electric cookers and heaters, air condoners, fans, DVDs, Radios and microwaves among others; information technology equipments such as computers, mobile phones, laptops, batteries, circuit boards, hard disks, and monitors among others; and other electronic utilities such as leisure, lighting, and sporting equipments. Recycling or Refurbishing of e-waste is a worldwide growing trend and was initiated to protect human and environmental health mainly due to the widespread environmental pollution impacts of e-waste. E-waste is not hazardous if it is stocked in safe storage or recycled by scientific methods or transported from one place to the other in parts or in totality in the formal sector. The e-waste can, however, be considered hazardous if recycled by primitive methods. India is emerging as one of the world's major electronic waste generators and likely to generate 52 lakh metric tonnes (MT) per annum by 2020 from the current level 18 lakh metric tonnes growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 30%. Ascensive TechSol Ventures Pvt. Ltd. (ATVPL) is taking the initiatives by addressing the above issues all together with a comprehensive approach to this modern day problem of E-waste. ATVPL is developing a digital platform consists of Web Interface as well as User level Mobile APP interface for the awareness development & methodical collection of the E-waste from the domestic as well as commercial houses. ATVPL is also accommodating the discarded but repairable e-waste as certified refurbished product and will reinsert them to the vast 2nd hand / used electronic goods market. The same digital platform will be used to make an online e-commerce place of these refurbished product. In one way this will cater the end users’ affordability & in the other way this initiative can contribute to the conservation of natural resources. ATVPL will setup an E-waste recycling plant in a central location within the state West Bengal, which will recycle the E-waste as a formal sector by complying the recycling guideline of the Central Pollution Control Board of Govt. of India. To implement this plant ATVPL will procure its own land for the setup & setup the necessary sheds & machinery under some Govt. registered consultancy. These plant facilities will primarily dismantle & segregate the WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) into broader categories like plastics, metal parts, CRT, PCB, Batteries etc. Components like CRT & Batteries will be channelized to some other specialized facilities for their recycle. Plastics & metal parts will be granulized and will be sold to 1st Stage equipment manufacturer. PCBs will be recycled to extract all the valuable metals like copper, aluminium, magnesium, palladium, gold, silver etc. & lastly converted into epoxy granules & likewise will be supplied to the respective manufacturing industry. For the recycling plant the raw material will be collected from the domestic & commercial houses through the own Collection HUBs. Apart from this ATVPL will take part in the EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) program by joining hands with the Big National & Multi-National EEE manufacturing companies as PRO (Producer Responsibility Organisation) and will earn additional revenue from the venture.
