DENMAKERS SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED
Ripon Street, West Bengal
In their own words
We are targeting the Real estate Sector along with its ancillaries like interior products and services, This sector is one of the largest sector in India with a turnover of 1,50,000cr across the country and with easy availability of all products and services in each and every locality. This sector is one of the unorganized sectors in India with majority transactions of this sector going under the radar of government. With recent policy decisions made in our country and everything being digitalized in near future this sector should be the key to development as it presents an ocean of opportunities for everyone. Other than being unorganised there are other major issues which are being faced by this sector (one’s we have tried to address and mentioned below). All such issues were identified based on a survey conducted by us which constituted both sellers and consumers feedback. i. Lack of Awareness: According to the survey we found that most consumers tend to buy products suggested by the interiors or sellers which generally are not apt for their use or value for money but instead the ones that tends to maximize profit or commission to sellers/interiors. ii. Lifting: According to the survey conducted we found that the main issue faced by the players in this sector was related to product lifting i.e. lifting of heavy and/or bulky products like tiles, plywood’s, granite’s, marble’s etc; especially on higher floors. Cost of such lifting is also very high (which is borne by the consumer) and also time & effort required by labours is also a matter of concern. iii. Labour: Availability of labours for lifting, loading & unloading and doing other such heavy work has been the matter of concern for parties as with time people willing to do heavy duty work has reduced drastically which in turn has also increased the cost of such labours. This problem has been countered by us to a large extent which shall be explained later. iv. Loading & Unloading: According to our survey the amount of time and cost involved in this process is considerable and often tends to pinch the consumer as unloading and lifting at consumers site tends to be more hideous job (cost of which is also borne by consumer) and a very costly affair with consumers having little or no alternative than to pay the hefty amounts charged by the seller/ labours. v. Safety: Safety of workers has been an issue in this sector; due to lack of safety equipments and heavy duty nature of work workers are prone to injuries. vi. Construction Quality: Other than above issues consumers who buy/rent any property tends to face issues with the quality of construction; for example: Damp issues, low quality of construction materials used, wiring/ plumbing issues; which cannot be adjudged by the buyers at the time of taking possession.
