Hi folks, I'm ch uttam Kumar rao & I'm from Kolkata.I have completed my graduation in 2018 from Calcutta University then I have chosen MBA from NMIMS for professional courses but During my second year my father passed away & due to financial crises I quit my studies & start running my father's ration shop. I'm here to bring "FLEX" footwear manufacturing company . Basically we are going to use plastic for making shoes by doing this we able to manage waste & recycle it again and again. Quality has maximum demand & at first our main focus is on affordability and quality . In 2022 footwear market size was valued at 384.2 billion dollars and is estimated to reach 530 billion dollars by 2027,The market size is getting bigger day by day. According to the human index in India 63% of the people are lower class or lower middle class they can't afford quality sports shoes They are compromised, I'm also from urban cities so I know that emotions, so our market size is huge .Our aim is to reach every home through our products. Look at first we are targeting that 63% to capture market so,before branding we want to crack the availability part ,once done we will be focusing on branding, main motive is to convert our consumer into self promoter by providing quality with affordability.The market also has competition as some global companies also make eco-friendly shoes (Nike, Adidas etc) but not everyone can't afford it. I also knew an Indian startup making eco-friendly sneakers (not sports shoes) from plastic but their selling range was not affordable so, we can capture the market with strategies .After well known we will be planning to make other footwear also.Material:- we are going to use plastic to make the upper body & soles be made with crumbs of industrial rubber, insole leather, adhesive, and other consumables.Production:- talking about production,starting to end the process of shoe manufacturing takes nearly 30-35 mins ,our aim is to make 200 pairs at the start,by the time it will increase.Land:- to establish our manufacturing unit we need approximately 1500 sq.feet, already i have talked to some godown owner for renting their place to establish our manufacturing unit.we need 16-18 people (skilled - unskilled) at first.For power consumption I have talked to the machinery dealer & I get that AC current will be suitable ,19KW power load will be required (other utilities included)Machinery:- For manufacturing shoes we need a skiving machine, sewing machine, lasting machine,& tools. ! make it count !
