The startup provides a rapid diagnostic kit, based on metal nanotechnology and surface plasmon resonance. . Metal nano based rapid diagnostic kit includes Preparation of Cu and Silver Nanoparticles. The Cu and Silver nanoparticles are prepared from CuSO4. 5H2O and AgNO3 by reducing method. The nanoparticles are collected and dried. Subsequently they are characterized by UV, FT-IR and Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) studies. Preparation and working of the kit include, at normal condition, coated metallic nanoparticles just aggregate and show a visual color. However, when they come in contact with contaminated sample of the specific microorganism, they disaggregate to bind with the specific microbe’s 16s rRNA. At this point, they show surface plasmon resonance which is indicated by change of color of the solution.
