We are Nextdoor Kitchens, an year old venture in the Food Services space based in Kolkata. Currently bootstrapped, we are generating a monthly revenue run-rate of INR 3.2 Lacs. Moving ahead, based on our experience and learnings, we look to pivot our business model from our current set up of 2 delivery-exclusive cloud kitchens. We intend to build India's first Multi-Cuisine QSR chain offering a mixed bag of foods from around the world - Italian, Tex-mex, American, Asian, Indian at a mass-affordable price point of INR 100-300 especially targeted in a market where there is a dearth of organized restaurant brands - Tier 2, 3 cities. Our outlets will be in 2 formats - Takeaway (200 sq ft) and Dining (650 sq ft), with a master kitchen servicing these retail points in cities with multiple outlets. The earlier build up will be under COCO and then we will segway into the Franchise model. Initial 2 year plan is to set up a minimum of 20 outlets (11 Takeaways and 9 Dining) to reach an annual turnover of INR 11 Cr by 2nd year with Break-even in the 7th Quarter of operations. Further plans see the revenues rise to INR 29 Cr by 5th year with a strong 9.5% EBITDA. Expansion will be backed by a robust customer touchpoint in the form of an app that will create firstly a differentiating factor for the brand and secondly will support all forms of consumption - delivery, dining and takeaway besides the walk-ins and aggregator business.
