About The Product/Goods We propose to set-up a button mushroom growing facility.Mushrooms are fruit bearing fungi which are vitamin & protein rich source of fat free fooding for the ever-growing and conscious population.Mushrooms are consumed in various forms where in fresh mushrooms are largely preferred over all others. The changing tastes & preferences of the youth is leading to the higher consumptions of the product which is currently preferred by the niche urban segment but gradually being accepted by the masses upon the education & realization of the health benefits.We propose to venture into medicinal mushrooms and value added products in the course of time. About The Promoters/Directors Mridul Agarwal is a passionate young entrepreneur who has keen interest in manufacturing sector. He has joined his family business of pharmaceutical manufacturing and has been actively involved in the production process. He has been working on the shop floor level which has added to his experience and confidence. Mridulhas completed his graduation in Commerce from St. Xaviers College, Kolkata this year and has pursued several professional courses like Six-Sigma Certification and Summer Business Programin London Business School. He will soon pursue his MBA in Family Business at the Indian School Of Business, Hyderabad.Mushroom Farming is his brainchild and he has undergone extensivetraining from Departmentof Mushroom Research, Solan (Govt. of India Undertaking) on the said subject. He has big plans lined up for Mushrooms as he would be venturing into Medicinal Mushrooms & value added products in course of time. Rinku Agarwal is the mother of Mridul Agarwal, a B.Com graduate &a national scholarsin studies. She has been looking after the Trading & Distribution business of the family &has an expertise in sales & back office operations. She is well versed with the market of agro products & she would be instrumental in the sales of mushroom.
