ROITech Skill Wings Pvt. Ltd. Was established on 4th of December, 2017, as a Wholly Owned Subsidiary company of ROITech Consulting Pvt. Ltd. Over the years ROITech Consulting Pvt. Ltd has trained hundreds of IT professionals in the field of SAP and had engaged them in their operations. Training and Placement has been an integral part of the company but it has not delved into the field of Skills Development, though imparting skills to hundreds. Since training and placements are not alien to the culture of the company, it was decided that a Wholly owned subsidiary company will be established and ROITech will seriously participate in the Skills Development arena. The obvious choice would be the IT and Electronics and Telecom sector, in which ROITech has indisputable expertise. But Textiles sector is one other in which ROITech has a claim of expertise. The Directors, Satyaki Basak and Smita Basak, hails from a long line of businessmen in the Garments and Textiles sector. The institution of Basak Sarees goes back almost a century, if not more. The names of Basaks are synonymous to the legacy of Handloom (Tant) and Silk sarees and garments in Bengal. Even as early as the 14th century, the Basaks and the Seth families of Bengal used to export Silk and Tant textiles to the markets of Europe and the rest of Asia. So naturally Textiles and Garments sector are a natural choice for ROITech Skill Wings. Since ROITech Skill Wings is a subsidiary company of ROITech Consulting Pvt. Ltd. and since all its experience accrues from the mother company, it is necessary to provide a short overview of the parent/ holding company here. ROITech Consulting Pvt.
