StepOut is an Indian first-of-a-kind sports data analytics and tech ecosystem startup, dedicated to revolutionizing player development, performance analysis, and gameplay experience. Here at StepOut, we generate millions of data just from the match footage and translate them into footballing diagrams and visualizations so as to enable a much larger audience without any background in data science, with the power of data-driven performance analysis and decision making. Our next-gen football analytics platform powered by fluid, easy-to-use, and engaging UI has enabled us to empower clubs/academies from different tiers of the footballing pyramid to utilize football analytics and technology to track the performance of the team, gain a data-driven tactical understanding of oppositions, access pre-curated video libraries of thousands of player/team actions, track and analyze the growth of their players and so much more! Our technological ecosystem addresses some of the major issues in youth development such as: 1. Providing quantitative performance analysis through easy-to-understand, engaging information design, so as to empower players and coaches with data-driven decision making, having no background or comprehensibility of data analysis. This provides a unique edge to the players who can now refer to actual performance data and growth curves, rather than just verbal feedback. 2. Our technology also provides video analysis of each event/action through our platforms, in the form of a pre-curated action video library. This enables every player/coach to access all the video references and not have to rely on memory so as to address/identify issues. 3. Our technology empowers footballing organizations with the ability to identify talent with exhaustive in-app data analysis tools. 4. We also create benchmarks for different age categories so as to provide players as well coaches/scouts with performance references. 5. In addition to exhaustive performance analysis, our app also provides a gamification experience to the competing players with in-app leaderboards, objectives, badges, etc. This in turn creates a digital journey for the players and, in turn, creates a huge impact in reducing drop-out rates.
