The raw material for the sanitary pads is obtained entirely from plant sources in a sustainable way. Tukcare along with its research partner CSIR- Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), Lucknow has developed 100% sustainable, skin friendly, medicated sanitary napkin with natural aroma, prepared by using bio-actives, plant extracts, aloe-vera and essentials oils. The bio-actives, will prevent bacterial and fungal infection and also UTI-related disease along with relief from unpleasant odor. The plant extracts used in this product provide comfort and minimize irritation. Moreover, the sanitary pad is biodegradable and home compostable and it can be disposed of in a sustainable disposal pack
