Uncharted Frontiers is building a software product with global potential which is singularly focused on a niche, affluent yet overlooked market : Motorcycle Enthusiasts. In start-up parlance it is a classical "Zero to One" business, which is rare in a world that's already saturated with software. The target customers exhibit unusual traits which are conducive for building a product with extremely strong network effects, virality and long term retention. The founder being an engineer turned consultant and a hardcore motorcycle enthusiast, was able to realize this opportunity from personal experience, and capture it in a digital product which taps into the intrinsic natural desires of riders. We aim to be a comprehensive platform for the global community of motorcycle enthusiasts. We envision that the product will evolve into a multi-sided platform that brings together every player in the motorcycle ecosystem. The mobile application is in the final stages of development and testing, it will be launched across India in late February. Once product market fit is achieved, we aim to expand globally. It seems likely that external capital will not be required, and we aspire to be in the pantheon of start-ups that are independent of Venture Capital. The nature of this product-user interface dictates that only one dominant player can exist, and that is exactly what we aim to be, an iconic consumer internet brand made in India for the world.
