Urban Pataka is women and menswear clothing brand based out of Kolkata, India founded by Nupur Darolia and Tanay Kapoor. 'Pataka' is a Hindi word used to complement beauty and sexuality. Urban Pataka is a size-inclusive brand and celebrates all body types. Urban Pataka man and woman is someone who effortlessly displays a fierce urban style, and is constantly experimenting and redefining his/her fashion boundaries. The drapes, cuts, fabric, and colors represent cosmopolitan women & men who can easily transition from traditional to non-traditional settings. The brands' emphasis has always been wearability, comfort, value for money, and effortless impact. All the products and prints are developed in-house. The garments are made with traditional craftsmanship keeping the global perspective in mind. We use a combination of organic dyes, hand block printing, digital printing, and traditional craft to create wearable yet statement clothing. We have been successful in creating good visibility in the International market with websites like Ogaan, Pernias Pop Up, and Indias Pop Up displaying our products.
