Technical consultancy has been in existence since times immemorial all over the world and also in India where we have had an abundance of very superlative technical minds getting together to find solutions to the most difficult of problems in all fields of engineering. Similarly, business consultancy has also been a booming sector in our country, especially after the advent of rapid growth seen since the post 90s era. ZEC is founded to offer a complete solution to one’s entire inter-related chain of business issues – right from problem evaluation, application and product approvals, techno commercial proposals, project executions and management of this entire spectrum, be it in the technical orthe very diversified ad developed field of managemen. With civil engineering and marketing expertise at its core, the aim of the company is to present itself as a one point solution, be it marketing or technical. Led by a team of industry experienced civil engineers and MBAs across varied construction sectors, we are, at the core of our existence, a company devoted to the following segments: A. TECHNICAL a) Geosynthetics-based solutions: Site survey, data collection, data analysis, solution design using geosynthetics, quality assessment and assurance, design ratification by recognized authority (if required), tender formulation, work supervision and performance monitoring and evaluation Areas of operation are in the river sector (anti erosion schemes, protection works, etc), Coastal protection, hill slope stabilization and hill roads protection, dewatering geotubes (for sewage treatment plants) b) Buildings Planning and layout, structural design, tender formulation, work supervision c) Bitumen Application of specialized grades of bitumen like PMB, CRMB, etc Cold mix applications like Premix Carpeting & Seal Coat for Rural Roads, Microsurfacing and Slurry sealing for Urban Roads. B. MANAGEMENT Preparing marketing plan for companies segment-wise, geography-wise Executing marketing plans set by companies or set for companies by us. The formulation and execution of the following innovative projects were done by the lead design team of ZEC: The Board of the company is made up of qualified and experienced professionals. Shri Rajeeva Ranjan Upadhyay, Chief Executive Officer of the company and its current head is a civil engineering graduate with MBA in Marketing & MIS with 27+ years of experience in the fields of geosynthetics and its applications design, marketing, finance and IT which also includes substantial exposure to the Australasian markets. He also has extensive experience in starting up of two major companies in the Indian market in the field of geosynthetics-based new technologies. Shri Arindam Purkayastha, Chief Operating Officer, is a graduate in civil engineering with over 27+ years of experience in the fields of technical sales and marketing of various sectors of construction engineering in the Indian sub-continent. Shri Ramen Goswami, Senior Vice-President is a civil engineering graduate and MBA in Marketing with over 19+ years of experience in the fields of specialized civil engineering applications in the Indian market.
